Pros
Strong abiity to “look good on paper”.They claim they want to improve business practices to make them “fair and equitable” but it’s for “checking the box” purposes ONLY. They love fancy words and concepts (especially stolen from successful companies), more smoke and mirrors than anything else. Senior leadership is seriously out of touch and only value those who look like them. There is NO female or minority (non Asian) representation at the top management.
Cons
White males get promoted to leadership (vp, svp, and c-level)positions in lightening speed (most times, less than a year especially if you can blatantly lie, misrepresent company concepts/services AND treat other employees with no respect- if you come from A-c-x-I-o-m, even faster). Indian/Asian males get there also as long as they report to the “right”leader.If you are not in those categories you may reach mid management and NO further but you have to walk on water to get there. They NEVER promote women or minorities (non Indian/Asian) to vp/svp/c-level positions.The one AND only time they did , the CEO literally emailed everyone happily highlighting that it took over 16+ years to promote them. The C-level are completely clueless.
