Pros
A dynamic start-up environment full of smart as heck people who are sincerely passionate about making a true difference in how healthcare is delivered. Every single person is pulling their weight and then some. A great place to learn, grow, try on various professional hats in pursuit of a high value mission. Raising one's hand to take on a new challenge is always appreciated and rewarded. Writing as somebody who is in the middle/latter stages of one's career, this company has done a great job of providing people in various stages of their career a warm, growth oriented environment. Not something that is true for very many San Francisco born start-ups.
Cons
The pros mentioned above will likely be cons for some. If you are looking for a stable, predictable environment where everybody stays in their respective professional lanes with little to no overlap than Agathos might not be a great fit. There has to be at least some aspect of being comfortable with the unpredictable nature of working in a growth oriented start-up environment.
