Pros

As a former employee, I feel compelled to share my experiences working at this company to provide management with a clear understanding of the issues that need to be addressed. Let's start with one and only pro. The company is extremely lenient when it comes to work schedules, which might seem appealing at first. However, the reason for this flexibility becomes apparent once you realize there are no clear tasks or objectives being assigned to employees.

Cons

Now, let's dive into the cons. The root of the problem lies in the poor management, starting with the CEO. He struggles to provide clear and concise instructions, often talking in circles without getting to the point. When you ask questions to gain a better understanding of your role or the project at hand, he perceives it as pushback and becomes defensive. The CEO seems to have trust issues with new employees, even when they offer valid insights and ideas. He appears to prefer employees who simply agree with him, rather than those who think critically and offer constructive feedback. He is extremely biased and will only listen to one person, disregarding the opinions and concerns of the rest of the team. The lack of project progress is a major concern. In my time at the company, I didn't see any projects being completed or even started. The CEO seems unable to clearly define what he wants, leaving employees in a state of constant confusion. The company guidelines and principles are provided in drafts and appear to be generated by ChatGPT, rather than being well-thought-out and professionally developed. The workforce manager is another significant problem. She gatekeeps tasks, making it appear to the CEO that she is more productive than others. She frequently badmouths team members who question her methods, taking advantage of the CEO's unwavering support. Her communication skills are mediocre at best, and she often mocks and backstabs colleagues. She relays information inaccurately to the CEO, creating a toxic work environment. When you approach the workforce manager for clarification, she consistently redirects you to the CEO for further explanation, especially when you have numerous questions she cannot answer due to her own lack of understanding. However, the CEO fails to provide any meaningful explanation, leaving you in a perpetual state of confusion and frustration. Having been with the company for a short period of time, I never received any formal documentation or went through a proper onboarding process. The company has been operating for seven years but still functions like a startup, lacking clear processes, task delegation, and standard operating procedures. They claim to be restructuring, but it appears to be an excuse for their inability to establish a clear direction. Perhaps most concerning is the way management treats employees who offer constructive criticism and feedback. Instead of valuing the insights of experienced team members and fresh perspectives, management punishes those who try to help improve operations. They seem too proud to listen to anyone else's ideas. If you question their methods or instructions, they will perceive you as a threat, resorting to badmouthing, intimidation, and even termination because they lack the communication skills to support their own directives. Another major issue is the misleading job advertisements. The company posts roles that do not accurately reflect the actual responsibilities you'll be given once hired. They'll assign you to a different position and insist that it's where you should be, yet they struggle to define your roles and responsibilities clearly. I strongly urge potential employees to carefully read through past reviews and take note of the consistent issues raised. The company's poor management, lack of direction, and resistance to feedback create a challenging and frustrating work environment. While the flexible schedule may seem appealing, it's not worth the stress and confusion you'll face on a daily basis. Proceed with caution and consider whether this is the kind of company you want to invest your time, skills, and energy in.

Hello. Thank you for your lengthy complaint. You terminated after just a few weeks on the job for insubordination and talking back to superiors. For breaking policy and causing disruption while a team around you was working together productively. Your entire review is a good example of why you don't belong in our work culture. We made a mistake in the hiring process here, and we will learn from our mistake. We're sorry to have wasted your time and ours by not realizing early enough how this was going to go.

Pros

There are very few leaders who seek to support their teams and their people in ways that allow them to truly grow as individuals. To simply be a leader is one thing but to actually lead is an entirely different beast and Jordan is one of those who seeks, with limitless passion, to lead with empathy, dignity, honor, compassion, and a raw curiosity that is nothing short of inspirational. When he asks his team how they are doing, he means it. When he provides guidance, he sees what you are capable of, and if you have a lower opinion of yourself than what is possible, you’ll be challenged to rise and become the best version of yourself. If that’s not absolute perfection, then I don’t know what is.

Cons

If you’re looking for the easy road where it’s clock-in/clock-out and no one pays attention to what you’re doing…you probably won’t like it here.

Thank you so much for your review! I feel honored to serve as the leader of the company to have treated you this way. This is always what I'd hoped it could be, and I feel it's my duty to see each individual for their strengths and not let them stop believing in themselves. I agree that there are people who should not work here because they really do want to have more control and autonomy where they aren't checked in with. It doesn't make the person bad, but it can turn into a bad situation if we don't recognize it early, or if we don't keep making strides in a more selective recruiting process. Thank you for offering your honest feedback, and thank you for being with us!! Warm Regards, Jordan, CEO

Pros

can't really think of any

Cons

Can't think of any positive points. Unless you like a toxic work environment, extra hours and bad ownership.
