Pros

Remote working flexibility and a purpose led mission.

Cons

In my experience, there was very little transparency between senior leadership and middle/lower management. Communication around business objectives often felt unclear beyond a general focus on growing the customer base. It felt frustrating that a town hall centred on “clarity” contrasted with the lack of communication many employees experienced day to day. Feedback, priorities and performance related discussions did not always seem clearly shared beyond our teams, which left people unsure of expectations or direction and ultimately undervalued. There were opportunities to improve processes and focus areas and staff regularly suggested ideas, but many initiatives were paused during an audit period, which created uncertainty amongst our team. Overall, I often felt left in the dark and wish I had paid closer attention to similar concerns raised in these reviews before joining.

Pros

Excellent people work here. There are some exceptionally talented individuals. Most people are open to change, and want to make a difference. Remote working.

Cons

I feel let down by Airbox. As other reviews have alluded to, the culture is poor and any momentum to change this is shot down. Human, people first decisions is something I am passionate about, and there is no space for this at Airbox. I left a stable, respected position to make a difference. My knowledge and skills are excellent in my field. They were not listened to or trusted.

Pros

There are few anymore, except some of your colleagues

Cons

From five plus years working there I gained a very good view of Airbox Systems. Pretty soon you realise it is like groundhog day, the same mistakes keep being made and any attempt to suggest solutions to the amateurish management (who are guided not from experience but by a book they are reading) is very firmly blocked. There has been and still is a very high forced turnover of staff, especially experienced technical staff. If you want to turn up to work only to find colleagues have been disappeared, then this is the place for you. Just never question what or why.
