Pros

Leadership is down-to-earth/approachable and have led successful exits at previous companies. Digital CX is ripe for transformation and our market is on the verge of exploding (in a good way)! Very impressive customer list for Series A.

Cons

I started during the pandemic and it's been tough to adjust to the new virtual work of WFH. Harder to get to know teammates, no "hallway conversations." Some of the fun and excitement of the start-up grind isn't quite the same when you can't celebrate the little wins together in-person. Leadership/PeopleOps do all they can to facilitate team activities and coffee-chats, but it's just hard to replicate the real deal.

Pros

When negotiating my position during the interview, I said I wanted to do it all. I ended up getting to, after all. Backend and frontend. I was all over the place, and it was great.

Cons

It's a startup company. Not a con for me, but could be for some.

Pros

- This is a team that thinks about culture, mission, and values deeply. The concept of “One Team” is real. You’ll see family, friends, and kids in the office and it’s openly welcomed. - Benefits (lunch, Caltrain, more) are designed to be helpful, rather than “cool”. I feel well taken care of. - An ambitious mission that’s well-articulated: To empower companies to build experiences people love. - Incredibly talented teammates, many of whom have multiple under their belt - Empowering leadership, not a place where you’ll be micromanaged - Culture and value are actively invested in. You see it, you don’t have to be told about it. - Team events every month, weekly demos where everyone shares what they’re working on

Cons

- Hours can be a little long, but it’s an enjoyable group to spend a lot of time with. Plus, management makes sure that after a big push people take time off to recharge.
