Pros
Since Airspace has made some recent changes, the atmosphere inside the office has been spirited. While having been at Airspace for more than 2 years, I have worked alongside some of the smartest minds in our industry, many of which I consider friends today. If you are looking to apply for a position or are just interested in the company, here are a few pros and cons to know about. Pros: - Great atmosphere that is people/culture focused. Nick and Ryan can often be found talking with employees, going out to lunch with them or asking for honest feedback in between their meetings and busy schedules. - The leadership team is not afraid to make changes if needed and rewards those who put in hard work. I have seen 2 people in leadership positions removed due to attitude or complacency. No one is more important than the company. - The work is hard but important. There is no room for cutting corners in our industry and making a mistake can cost a company thousands of dollars or even a life. This means every day you have to stay vigilant but doing so can make a huge difference in someone's day.
Cons
- The industry is hard and there is no room for error. When you are handling shipments as critical as Airspace is, everything is reviewed under a microscope. - It's still a start-up company at heart. The company moves very fast and does not always have to re-visit older projects. This means if it isn't perfect the first time, it's not Airspace ready.
