Pros
At the start (within Sales/Business Development), it was positive and interesting with a "let's do it" attitude. You're given enough rope to hang yourself. Was an interesting product line, not sure about these days. There are career opportunities but you have to pay for it in one way or another somewhere down the line.
Cons
Another reviewer has said: "Have never made a profit in almost 20 years and senior management still the same!!" I have to agree. I wonder how they remain in business. There is certain senior management who seem to have lived off either close personal ties to the CEO or they have something on him which protects their job. Their overall competence in the position for a few decades now is suspect, in my opinion. Lived off "connections" rather than capability but connections run dry. Willing to support you when the going is good (i.e. you're meeting target) but just as willing to throw you under a bus when they make a mistake and need a scapegoat. Arrogance and ego within management. "Employees are treated unfairly, asking too much of them but giving nothing in return." Another comment made by a previous reviewer: Agreed. Have "shipped" product and recognised revenue even when customer decided they didn't want it. Hastily looking for another customer to "dump" it on. Have sold features they did not have and coerced salespeople to support this. When I state "nasty characters", understand they're very "smooth" with it, therefore difficult to judge at first.
