Technical projects are challenging and can take you where no one went before. If you are proactive you can learn new things everyday. You have the opportunity to take multiple roles and have a real impact on the business even as a junior engineer. This is a rich environment to develop hands-on experience on different technical topics and work with very talented people. You can be writing code in the office on Monday, validating a design in the workshop on Tuesday, participate to Flight operations on Wednesday, collect pilots feedback on Thursday and end the week working from home to focus on a specific task. There is a caring culture and most of the time a good communication across teams. Diversity is also one of the strength of the company.
Cons
The team is undersized for the ambitions of the company. The direction given by the leadership team is changing at a unreasonable pace. The employee turnover is high.

Pros
Literally no pros here at all
Cons
No direction or real strategy. Owner does not care about the people. Employees’ superannuation does not get paid. Salaries are paid late - no communication as to when you will get paid. HR doesn’t respond on queries. When asking about your salary or super, the response is they have no idea, this is with accounts - it’s a small company with 15 people.
You will get replaced in a flash - whether you are doing a good job or not - sometimes by less qualified people. Toxic work environment. Empty promises of career progression and training - zero was given while employed.
