Pros

fixed working hours, rarely getting extended beyond 8 hours a day

Cons

they are bringing back full WFO, already the WFH policies were very rigid, one fixed day per week, to avail more than that you had be basically bedridden. Now that is going away as well. All such decisions are coming from the top management in the parent company, so your immediate managers are also helpless to do anything.

Pros

I worked at Aisle for a little over 1 year. Was given freedom to contribute and improve the tech side of app without any intervention. While the culture is not conventional, you get used to it after some time. Not saying if it can get better or not. Pool table!!! I Got so better at playing pool. Work life balance is decent compared to other companies. Genuinely kind people (hard to find in corporate culture tbh) Very lean team.

Cons

If you are young, don’t prioritise work life balance. Grind in your early years then join some well established company While alone you can explore and learn tech, a team where you are motivated to do better is somewhat lacking. Company still feels like a marketing first, tech second company No food provided in office (lunch/dinner) not a con but come on🥺 Again, compensation level is something that in your mid career level you might feel could’ve been better. Again, for all the reasons I left aisle, I left with some really good memories, connections and bonds that I feel are worth preserving beyond my tenure at this company.
