Nice place to work - Assistant Manager Ajoya Employee Review

Awesome location with the BEST customers and team! It's hard to put into words how thankful I am for everything they have done for me. Running a small business is tough and in the cannabis industry, it's even tougher. No company is perfect but I respect the way the Ajoya team handles adversity and is always willing to improve and grow!

Benefits could be a bit better.

The dispensary was close to my house

Stay away. This place is worse than middle school with all the gossip and clicks. You would think working in this industry you would receive some products to try before you sell them and good tips to split at the end -not here. Managers take all the samples for them self’s and split tips for everyone as they see fit, even though some managers never even take customers. This place has lower starting pay rates compared to most other dispensary’s and a raise will never happen. There is no movement in the company although the owner will swear to you, other opportunities are available. King Soopers and Goodtimes start at a higher rate than this dump of a business. This place is horribly run, managers are trash and micro manage. You are working for a rich family business where the family members that work there have no accountability and constantly point the finger and play the blame game. Remember you have to be in the cool club to get a livable wage or even stick around. It’s pretty pathetic working there, literally anything is better than this place.
