Pros
• Pay w/ tip share is crazy considering what the actual tasks of your are
• Some really awesome people work there
• Easy to learn and pick-up
• Food (I definitely spend less on groceries, thank goodness for the shift meal)
Cons
• The pay is good, but at what cost? It'll come at the expense of your body and mental well-being. This is a job that'll wear you down, make it difficult to plan, and leave you so socially and physically exhausted that you get home only to collapse for 14 hours, unable to move from your couch.
• This company cares so little about you and its customers that sometimes I wonder if they intentionally want it to go under.
• Hours are inconsistent which is the nature of the industry. I do think the company can do a better job at managing consistency. It'll oscillate between entitlement to your entire life, any hour and every hour of every day, to like 3 hours a week. It's a great temp gig, but it's a shame they seem to want a lot of availability from you when you can't count on them to even schedule you.
