Pros

Good pay, reasonable with personal time, good peers.

Cons

They try to sell you on a 9/80 work schedule, actually getting the that Friday off is a rare occasion. The workload is way more than should be put on individuals. They set unrealistic expectations and timelines. Upper management does not realize the amount of workers needed to properly get the job done then get upset when the work is not done timely. Therefore you end up putting in a very large number of hours to complete all the work and it is not appreciated. In the time I worked there the turnover was much higher than I have ever seen before, in resignations due to conditions as well as terminations. In short, they try to sell you with good perks but they are half truths and in the end it is not worth it. Keep looking.

Pros

They pay better than most in the government services field. Their vacation policy is awesome. You don't build vacation days, you just take what you need and they let you know if it's too much. This works to the benefit of the company though as they don't have any liability on the books for pay out.

Cons

The management staff is a group of folks that are always looking for folks to agree with them. The truth has a hard time finding it's way to management. They continue to change their focus on what to do and when to do it so it is difficult to make progress when your plan is changed every six months. The turn over rate for employees (outside the core group) is very high. With the recent change in Senior Management, the remaining staff is looking over their shoulder every day and wondering if they will still have a job. Expect significant downsizing in the next few months.
