Pros
Reliable 40 hour work week. Competitive pay. Health/Dental insurance plan. Generous 401K match. The owner is a very generous person and tries to take good care of his employees. (Over the last 2 years dealing with covid, he bought everyone's lunch and had it door-dashed to the office nearly every day. All just to minimize any extra exposure to his employees.) Laid back work environment.
Cons
Little to no opportunity for career growth. Double standards on most company policies. (One person is expected to follow rules, while another person is allowed to ignore nearly every rule, with impunity.) Safety issues are brushed aside and ignored. One of the most inefficient places I've ever worked. Management firmly believes in "working harder, not smarter." (Through lack of planning and common sense, a lot more time and labor goes into completing tasks than is truly necessary.)
