Pros
Great career opportunities for relatives of a manager or fellow church members. Downtown location. Free credit monitoring. Nice salaries (offset by poor health care benefits and paid vacation/holiday package).
Cons
High turnover! Continuous pattern of hiring sprees, and then firing. Value statement may exist but the organization and culture doesn't live by the value statement. The value statement is used primarily as a recruiting and marketing ploy. Some of the managers and directors have created hostile work environments and a culture of favoritism. If you try to raise concerns of inappropriate behavior to VPs or higher up, your direct management retaliates. Excessive frivolous spending, lack of discipline and strategic investment in the future. Out-dated product technology; updating technology has been a secondary priority to the excessive hiring of unnecessary administrative positions, brand new office space, and big bonuses and perks for senior leaders.
