Pros

Allianz is a great company to work. Quite beneficiary for employees regarding their online learning, other functions like house competitions n activities.

Cons

If I start listing cons one will forget the positive side ( just from team perspective) Allianz itself is great. CEO of Allianz I am sure is not aware about these parasites working as managers in the org. First of all they came with a different requirement to hire me. When I started working they said the requirements has changed and the work that was handed over to me was just a copy paste work. As a Content management team I was not having any authority to comment over the database they created. I guess such pathetic kind of work management would never be done in any MNC. The higher / upper management is way too pathetic n dramatic. Only space for Malayalees. Even the manager try to sheild the employees from Kerala only. Lead with Servicedesk field is leading over Content management. And the policy for changing team is painful. They ask to wait 18 months after joining which is way too long. The entire team politics leads to mental pressure n harassment resulting resignation.

Good benefits, hybrid work arrangement is flexible (you can choose your 3 days in office)

Cons

Tenure and friendship is valued more than actual skillsets. Many people in Ops have no formal college education or true technical skills, and have been complacent in the dept for 10+ years. This leads to inefficient and stale processes that are reluctant to change. The culture is extremely passive aggressive and long-tenured employees are not welcoming to new hires from outside of the organization. People will go out of their way to sabotage opportunities for those offering new perspectives with greater value add. This causes forced interactions with low value collaboration. Many in analytical roles do not even understand basic Microsoft Office skills, Excel functions, V/XLOOKUPS, etc. and data is often reviewed manually per line item… This company is run like a low budget mom and pop shop where inefficient and backwards practices are toxically in circulation.
