Pros

Experience gained Co-workers are okay

Cons

All was good while working on the site, if you are okay with low wages. But I was doing this for experience and plus the site was so understaffed because the client wanted professionals for less than $15 an hour so OT was crazy. So I eventually moved up and here is where things got bad. Once you get that work phone kiss a full-nights sleep goodbye. You are putting out fires on the daily. Imagine you are on a small rubber boat (your salary) with 300 holes (your unreliable employees) and taking on water (overtime). You patch it up and your manager hands you a red solo cup (your work phone) to remove the water only the cup has a hole in it as well (nobody helps). Is your manager on the boat with you? No, they're on a speedboat on their way to happy hour. Mind you they hooked you up though! With a string of floss (Friday lunches [sidebar: Im not knocking Friday lunches they hit the spot]) now while they're going 100 mph on this speedboat you're hooked up trying not to sink and they are just dragging you choppy, shark infested waters and asking you "what's wrong? You good?". In other words, do not work for this company or if you do just do not accept a supervisor or management position, stay low collect your checks and OT until something better comes along. Oh and last time I checked, payroll is done manually. They have this call-in thing but it doesn't really work half the time. So the overworked Operations Manager has to do the whole payroll and boy do they make mistakes. So dont work funny hours! Cause you will regret it. And if they offer bonuses to work somewhere extra, do not take it, ask for training hours instead because bonuses are heavily taxed and that overworked operations manager will forget to enter it. I know I did! Good luck and a'salute.

Pros

Some of the people you meet are cool and you make real good connections with the professional guards (not a lot, but i got lucky)

Cons

*Management doesn't answer their phones *Management don't want to help you address the issues onsite unless the manager of that site has an issue. *Rude and non responsive office. *Operations managers and client managers are useless. (Their assistants do a better job than they do) *The guards are not the priority to management and the company. Very childish and hostile environment. *A lack of structure, communication and support.
