Pros
The company itself has good technology, interesting projects, and some genuinely skilled and supportive colleagues.
Cons
One of the most mentally exhausting working environments I have experienced. The biggest issue is the management style within this department. Employees are often treated without respect, communication can be unprofessional and dismissive, and the atmosphere is heavily based on pressure and micromanagement rather than support and teamwork. Work-life balance is poor, expectations are often unrealistic, and there is a constant feeling of being monitored instead of trusted. The role advertised during the hiring process does not accurately reflect the day-to-day reality of the position. The responsibilities and working environment are very different from what candidates are led to expect during recruitment. Unfortunately, this environment negatively affects morale, motivation, and employee retention. Several capable employees have either left or actively tried to move to other departments because of the management approach. I would strongly advise anyone considering this specific department to carefully evaluate the management culture before accepting an offer.
