Learning about whole food supplements and leaving for the day.

Cons

very unprofessional family practice with poor leadership. There are no training materials for their front desk positions. However, management has the most expectations for these roles. Management is narcissistic and all blame is pinpointed on front desk. Most policies are within a grayscale. Extremely high turnover rates have caused them to have a bad reputation in the city. Former employees reach out to current staff to check on their mental health. Be prepared to overextend yourself, work full time hours with lack of benefits, and work with an immensely outdated system. Leadership throws temper tantrums, is very manipulative, expresses zero accountability, and intimidates people in to writing good reviews. They bad mouth patients that can’t afford their services. Everyone is viewed from a dollar sign perspective.

Pros

I enjoyed working for Alternative Health Atlanta. I learned so much while I was there. Everyone who worked there was very caring and patient driven. We really saw amazing results and helped a lot of people. We often got bonuses and made fun games out of it.

Cons

The hours are full time. I was also in school full time, and couldn't juggle both. I would still be there if it wasn't for my school.

Pros

Helping people every day who thought no help was possible, often helping them to resolve problems that they were unaware even had a solution. Having the freedom to create new and better ways of operation. Working with a great group of like-minded, purposeful staff who are dedicated to helping our patients and love their work. No gossip, cliques, or negativity to speak of. Winning! Our patients get better, write great success stories, and are so thankful to us for our help. Getting to fight back at the medical establishment that fails to care or help so many patients with chronic health conditions.

Cons

As manager, I have to deal with all the legal and government regulations and endless requirements. This annoys me because it takes valuable time away from helping patients and supporting staff who are helping patients.
