Pros

They have good medical benefits and competitive premiums; IRA match is good; management listens and is readily available to provide insight; can work from home part-time; great location convenient in Nashville, but away from the downtown gridlock; many other locations around the country to assist a single client or multi-state client; stable work environment with manageable caseloads; senior leadership takes care of their employees.

Cons

Drive time to work and back, but they do allow for some part-time at home work for many, but not all positions; no pay for college/University, but they do offer career advancement course for designations.

Pros

The culture at ASC sets up employees for success. First, the environment is positive. A positive workforce is a motivated workforce. Second, upper management is extremely transparent and easily accessible. We are consistently shown how our "boots on the ground" affect the company's upward movement in our industry. Upper management is just an email away. Third, the company leverages each employee's strength to the advantage of its clients. This encourages employees to take ownership of the product. We are extensions of management.

Cons

Due to working on-site with my client, I am unable to get the full ASC "office" experience. The support staff in the home office are such great people. I assume daily interactions would make it that much more enjoyable to work for ASC.

Pros

ASC has a number of very good perks including: great pay; wonderful PTO; quarterly adjuster bonuses; casual dress; high retention; comfortable environment; low claim caseloads; flex time; bonus paid for adjuster new client implementation travel, and high adjuster retention for dedicated unit staff. The company is also in the process of achieving the next phase towards Baldrige criteria which will be a beneficial incentive for clients, new clients and employees.

Cons

Unlike larger TPA's, ASC is viewed as a regional service provider even though offices are strategically located throughout the nation.
