Pros

- trauma bonding among coworkers

Cons

- they have a methodology that disregards understanding the needs of clients - not much experience from CEO - when we work from home, she forces us to turn on the camera even if its just scrum.

Pros

The colleagues were young and friendly Some of the work of this company is good but it's the credit of the employees, not the management

Cons

If you are a fresh graduate and expect to learn, you should find another company. Because the bosses (they have 3 founders) there expect that you are a genius who can learn so fast. According to my experience, one of my bosses assigned the most complicated project after I worked in that company for only 1 month. Seemed like they forget the fact that I was a fresh graduate. And don't expect your colleagues can help you because they have their own projects. And of course, as a fresh graduate, I had no idea about what I should do. One of the bosses shouted at me once because I did not meet their unreasonable requirements. It is so funny that they hired you with a low salary but expect you to do the work of the design lead and everything about design. I quit after 2 more weeks because I thought I had enough of the pressure and insult. And the most important thing is I could not learn the things I expected to learn there. I also know that they did not give any salary to the interns at that time. It really shocked me when I heard that. Please think again if you want to work as an intern in this company. If you don't want to waste your time, skip this company.

Altitude Labs Response

Thank you for your valuable feedback to us. We are sorry to hear that your experience working at Altitude Labs was not the best but we strive to be a nurturing environment for our past and future employees regardless of their length of stay. We value your feedback and will find ways to continue to improve our work environment. Just a few points of clarification 1. We believe each one of us should aspire to do great work, regardless of experience level. Everyone in the firm, especially our designers and developers, work relentlessly to make sure that our work is of top quality. And when quality of work is at stake, and compromised, we are transparent in the way we feel. 2. We are committed to creating a collaborative environment where we can also stay passionate. We believe in providing training through early exposure by allowing all members of staff to be included in the project scope early in the process. 3. We respect that all designers and developers have their innate style of expression and that we hope they can articulate only in a professional manner. 4. We compensate all our interns who meet our minimum internship period and apply to our our company during the regular recruitment season. Special arrangements (only upon mutual agreement) are made if, 1. you are a last minute applicant, 2. you do not meet the minimum contracted commitment, 3. You ask for an unpaid internship because you want exposure in a field you are unsure about. 5. Altitude Labs respects that the general team also takes part in onboarding and training new members so we abide by strict guidelines to ease new additions to the firm. We are committed in taking your feedback and address it in places where we have missed in creating one. With Gratitude, Team Altitude Labs
