Great environment to work in

Not many opportunities for raise

People are nice, laid back environment, nice location.

Everything is about internal politics. Middle management are only yes men and contain no knowledge about what they are managing. New hires can be hired without there even be a job posting if they know someone at the bank which often results in someone within the department being forced to move somewhere else. Incredibly hard to move up, they are often hiring for DEI purposes in management positions. People can have worked there for 10-20 years and will never be given the opportunity to progress, again because of the inner politics involved at the bank. One manager actually asked an employee within the department to be a mole and rat out on their coworkers. Pay is also terrible.
