Pros

You have your own private room and they supply the products. We get a break room and I like the location of my store. I like having 3days off.

Cons

Terrible pay. (I was desperate for a job) immature coworkers, I feel like I work in a factory where they just want quantity over quality. It's hard to really care about doing a good job when you know what you're making and what you could make if you did on your own. Clients seem to prefer the globes of glue and clumped up lash look that lots of inexperienced stylist do. They think that makes them look fuller even though they're lashes are falling out. After a 10 hour work day they expect you to be the cleaning crew as well because the owners are cheap. Again no one really cares enough because the pay is so awful. Tips are not good either considering the tediousness of the application process and cost of service. Retail products are cheap and again commission is 5%. Again no real incentive to go above and do your absolute best when pay/commission is so low. They're way to do lashes is awful too. Makes no sense and I do the way I was trained in school. I'm not a robot and I like to perform a service with how I feel most confident doing it. Client has no idea anyways and many prefer my technique.

Pros

They're super nice and friendly here and give you decent training to do the position well

Cons

theres no work life balance, they cant keep people mostly because they ask so much of you for only minimum wage. so schedules change often, team members are put in positions where they have to work open to close and overall you don't get to have any consistency
