Pros

If you are able to get a shift, and if you are able to easily pick up boxes and if your route is not too far/crazy, it's an easy way to make decent money.

Cons

There are too many "if's" in the equation for me. I enjoy this job when all the ifs line up. But when they don't, it's stressful and not worth it. I've waited in warehouse parking lots for boxes for an hour into my shift, I've been given shifts that sent me out into the obscure, unpaved desert at night (I'm in Arizona, and I was literally off roading), I've been sent shifts in advance and had the time change on me without notification, I've accepted 3 hour blocks that took me 4 hours and 45 minutes to deliver because I was given too many boxes.... Just a bunch of silly stuff that should have gone more smoothly and easily. I'm over it.

Pros

Lots of routes available to drive using your own vehicle, both in early morning and in the evenings. Get paid the same day that you drive. Routes are usually pretty tight so you're not doing a lot of long distances between stops.

Cons

Low pay for the amount of miles you'll have to drive. You may average about 20-25 an hour, depending on how long of a block you sign up for. But you'll end up spending at least 1.5 hours pay to put back into your gas tank. You can't choose the area you want to drive in, it's chosen randomly for you. So you could be clear across five counties from the starting point.
