Pros
One pro would be weekly paychecks
Cons
You don’t actually work for Amazon, you work for a delivery service provider who is a contractor for Amazon . The routes are not doable in most cases. They say you must take your lunch and breaks however if you do, you will be getting calls from your dispatcher asking what’s taking so long. Many drivers pee in cups in their vans because they require 20 stops minimum per hour. It is a highly unfair position considering you deliver 300-600 packages and many require stairs if your route has apartments. This job is extremely difficult unless you’re a little bit fit. Expect foot blisters, 20-30k steps per day. The loading time they give you 15 minutes to load hundreds of packages however they cut the time short 80% of the time so the Amazon workers on the loading pads look better and have better numbers. Those employees actually work for Amazon however they do not care at all about delivery drivers. It’s quite a sad situation, which is why all the Delivery service producers have such high turnover rate. They hire like crazy, and employees quit like crazy due to being overworked
