Remote, all holidays, 15+ sick days, equipment provided, good finance team

High turn over, no support from mgmt, lousy accounting practices

The only pro is that the job was remote.

The departments included in shared services should be on campus. It was very difficult to assist students remotely. The two schools that Ambow owns are for profit and dealing with major audit issues and I'm surprised they are still operating. One school is on the east coast and the other on the west and employees are located all over the country so no one seemed to be working normal hours. The leadership is extremely toxic and masked it as "we're just brutally honest." I was never comfortable discussing my problems with my boss and I felt like I was constantly being watched. If you submitted a concern to HR, it would get right back to your boss and you would be shamed for it. I needed a remote job at that point in my life and this seemed like a wonderful opportunity but it was nothing but a nightmare.
