Pros
flexible hours, plenty of overtime available because there is such a high turnover rate. would leave 0 stars if i could.
Cons
management is unorganized, HR steals minutes off your hours and sometimes will take several hours from your check and then tell you they're right. This company is just like the other EMS agencies just with new equipment. they received $1M in Covid grants and decided to build 3 new locations and get an entire new fleet of trucks but the employee appreciation was a dry sandwich from firehouse subs. they were attempting to bring in over 15 new EMRs so that the EMT/Medics can jsut TECH and not drive. They will run you into the ground if you let them. I've been here 2 years and none of the people I started with are here. Save your time. work elsewhere. You think they pay better than most companies but they really steal time from your checks in hopes that you wont notice. there are also cameras on the trucks that record 24/7 so you have no privacy because 301 does sit and watch the cameras at the office. let me not forget the last minute LONG DISTANCE calls they like to drop on you before your shift ends. They will literally send you from Dunwoody to Macon and get upset if you decline the call. They love to dispatch you to morbidly obese patients with NO lift assist. this company is TOXIC. Even the managers complain about the company. all they really care about is profit and expanding their business. doesnt matter to them that they wont have the needed staff to run these locations. oh, and also, the benefits package SUCKS and is expensive compared to other companies ive worked for. AVOID WORKING HERE AT ALL COSTS!
