Pros
The company takes great care of its employees. My coworkers were like my family and everyone was so supportive of one another. Some great assets of the company are the possibility of working from home, low cost medical plans, 401K matching and generous paid time off. The company likes to keep their employees engaged and involved. The marketing department plans events with the HR director monthly; such as company lunches, various fun activities onsite and charity events. HR worked very well with the staff, very helpful and communicative. The open door policy with HR makes you feel very supported.
Cons
There is a slight play on favorites within the company but only with specific upper management staff. Some are not available to speak with because they won’t return emails timely and their door is often always shut. At times, the company can get busier at certain times of the year. Instead of possibly hiring another staff member to balance the workload, they will assign duties to someone who is often already busy with their own work. While this is helpful for cross-training purposes, it will burn out the employees fairly quickly.
