Mission-driven work alongside colleagues who are smart, passionate, and thoughtful. Since Dr. Whyte’s arrival as CEO, there has been a noticeable increase in direct communication from senior leadership and a shift toward new, high-impact projects that would have been unlikely for the AMA a few years ago, making this an exciting time to be at the organization.

There’s been a lot of change across the organization recently, which has created some uncertainty. There are still silos across teams, which can make collaboration more difficult. Some processes remain overly complex.

A lot of the people who work here really do care about the mission and advocacy that the AMA encourages. People genuinely care about their work here and want to help each other. Overall a fairly collaborative and inclusive environment.

New CEO has shifted the culture here significantly. RTO happening despite many concerns and lack of organization. Several changes seem to be happening without much transparency or communication. Lots of turnover already beginning due to this. CEO seems to care about external appearances, but has done nothing for the benefit of the employees.
