More duties applied on everyone with not enough compensation. The return of the bonus was a great implementation but targets/budgets have raised a lot. Most companies seem to want to grow around 8% YOY (word of mouth) but Ames usually wants more than double that YOY & with times changing its very challenging. The store personnel should never become stagnant but it happens & more per hour and less bonus may be a way to motivate some.
Middle sized accounts seems to be ignored or heavily rely on store managers to take care of them. Large accounts have a go to person & small to medium have the managers and there are missed opportunities there. At times hard to reach supervisor as they have many stores to cover but for the most part can get help I need from peers or others, but I'm one that's NOT afraid to speak up.
