Claims adjusting position is rough work level wise, I had a lot of 70+ hour weeks. I've been retired for awhile now, currently working as an independent adjuster. If I handled the volume of work as an IA that I handled at Amica I'd be making about 250K a year.
I don't work that hard anymore as life is too short. Spent 30 years there and have been on a pension for awhile now. I would have left earlier if not for the no longer available golden handcuffs though.
