Pros
I had an awesome team, and it was a great company to work for. The work was well-structured, processes were clear, and the environment encouraged productivity. Unfortunately, things have changed. Decisions from the top management have disrupted that structure, creating unnecessary chaos and expectations for employees to work around the clock.
Cons
Too little appraisal. Ironically, employee's true value only after they decide to leave. That's when the promises start: "We'll give you a better hike next year," or "We'll match your current offer." By then, it's often too late. Recognizing and rewarding employees at the right time is what truly helps retain talent.
