Pros
There are good people here, and I think Robert Minkler and certain partners do care and mean well.
PTO is good- albeit not amazing, not unbeatable, and perhaps not enough to make up for the weakness in other areas.
Generally pretty steady-handed when it comes to remote/hybrid work policies.
Upward mobility is definitely there if you drink the Kool-Aid, so to speak.
Cons
Pay tends to be acceptable, but not particularly competitive.
While certain partners are great, some are very toxic and can easily ruin the experience of working here. The partner group as a whole can be a bit too much in their own bubble- namely, I think Anders views itself as a more competitive employer than it really is.
The best way I can describe the environment here is cliquey- some people do great here, a lot of people wash out, and I think it takes a fairly specific sort of person to truly fit here. A lot of lip service is given to work-life balance- but in practice, Anders expects a lot out of you, and I think it's harder to find that here than it is at most places. (Of course, a lot of this depends on the department and the specific person.) Don't count on receiving a ton of guidance or support if you're struggling in any way.
