Pros

AL sells UX well and has employees who can deliver research at lightning speed.

Cons

Like all other businesses, their goal is to generate profit. They upcharge clients on the backs of researchers who are made to whip out reports in a flash, where quality is secondary to production. Many excel in this cut throat environment and are rewarded with upwards mobility for being good yes men and furthering the agendas of leadership. If you are more of an independent thinker, care about quality output, or just want to be plain valued for your contributions, know that many other great opportunities await you out there. Don't be desperate and don't fall for the bogus reviews below. Do an ounce of critical thinking and see that once a negative review appears which mysteriously doesn't come with the title 'best company I ever worked for', then it is summarily followed by 2-3 glowing reviews to essentially bury it. An honest corporation would let them stand as is and not mobilize its fleet to do something so glaringly obvious. Improve your ethics and you won't need to run such schemes in the future.

Transparency does exist within the organization, though it can depend on where and how information is accessed. The role offers the fundamentals many candidates seek—fully remote work, with varying degrees of schedule flexibility depending on position. Day-to-day management is generally supportive, with many managers fostering a collaborative environment and stepping in to help when needed.
