Pros

The coworkers are by far the best part of this company. Unfortunately, Antenna has laid off pretty much everyone I used to work if they didn't manage to get out first with two public layoffs and a third, hushed round of layoffs this June.

Cons

As other reviews have alluded to, Antenna was a great company to work for until about 2022. A series of bad acquisitions, departmental feud, and the acquisition of companies we were ill-equipped to serve did not bode well in our current economic climate. These obvious setbacks should be warning enough to anyone interested in applying for work at Antenna. But my story at this company is a bit different than anyone else I've known, since while I worked at this company I did pretty much nothing for about two years. It was crazy, and the opposite experience of my coworkers - all talented people who got laid off one by one despite doing excellent work and working well beyond the 40 hour work week. During my tenure, I had four different managers - the final three getting laid off. Amidst the confusion, my role floated in a void. I did good enough work to seem like a hard worker, and always said the right things at the right time. Most weeks, I worked... I don't know, five hours tops? You'd think this would be a benefit, but it drove me insane. People with identical roles to mine who worked far harder were taken down, one by one. I was increasingly paranoid. I made a point to discuss with every manager how I was always looking for more ways to help to secure my position, and I was always told more work would be coming. It never did. Every day I woke up ready to get fired. It was extremely alienating and made me paranoid, but the paycheck always came through. What did I learn from this experience? If hard work has ever paid off, it wasn't here. I watched everyone who tried get burned. New ideas are not celebrated. In a recent all-hands meeting, we were informed that our relationship to the company was like a covenant... but I was never witness to any loyalty at this company whatsoever. Nobody seems to be safe, not even employees who have worked there for 8 years. Turnover in the C-suite was pretty rapid. I would strongly advise not working for this company.

Pros

Talented colleagues who are collaborative, supportive, and genuinely invested in each other's success. The client work is varied, and impactful, with opportunities to work with clients across multiple industries - energy, real estate and health. Antenna does an excellent job of keeping remote (and office) employees engaged through skill-sharing masterclasses led by Ants, and celebrations of holidays and team achievements. There is also a strong focus on continuous learning, with leadership encouraging Ants to stay ahead of the curve on emerging trends, AI tools, and industry best practices. A culture that values growth, curiosity, and pushing the envelope.

Cons

To state the obvious, agency life can be fast-paced, with priorities shifting based on client needs.

Pros

My experience with Antenna over the years has been overwhelmingly positive and has gotten progressively better over time. Antenna is a fast-paced agency that’s actively growing and evolving. That can be uncomfortable at times, especially if you prefer a very predictable or static environment. For me, that pace has meant opportunity, learning, and exposure to meaningful work. The leadership team has demonstrated themselves to be approachable, fair, and genuinely invested in doing right by people. Communication and management styles may not resonate with everyone, but in my experience, my coworkers are thoughtful, professional, and never unkind. There are teams and processes in place to manage workloads and priorities, and while agency life can be busy, I've seen a concerted effort to distribute work fairly and adjust when things get heavy. Antenna also offers a generous time-off policy and encourages people to actually use it. I’ve consistently seen managers and leadership support flexibility when people need it, which matters a lot in a demanding industry.

Cons

As Antenna continues to grow and evolve, not everything is perfectly smooth all the time. New processes, structures, and ways of working take time to fully settle, and there can be moments of ambiguity while things are refined. That evolution is thoughtful and intentional, but it can feel a bit bumpy along the way. The pace and constant improvement mindset aren’t for everyone.
