There is no proper training in this company. They hire from outside and offer minimal training in any position. The “training department” has required meetings to openly shame employees with everyone all on the call. What is the point in having a shame fest for leasing consultants. If they aren’t doing what they need then it should be the managers responsibility to help them, not the training department pulling their stats during a call and calling people out. This company is very disorganized. Corporate needs to get a handle on things before they see a huge lawsuit on their hands. Managers live onsite without paying rent for months but have the audacity to treat their staff like they are beneath them. PTO is a gimmick, AMP claims to have a generous PTO policy but if you leave you, they don’t pay it out at all or you have to pay it back. That’s not really a perk of a job now is it. Not even Greystar runs their benefits like that, and they aren’t even a great management company to begin with! This company is too small for them to be doing business like this. The turnover rate is astronomical at some properties and corporate should really be looking into why that is.
