Great positive company - QA Lead /Sr QA Analyst AppSumo Employee Review

I really enjoyed my interview process at AppSumo! It's very evident early on that it's a great team and company–One who is honest and genuine.

I truly don't have any negative things to say about the interview process. You do have to do a good bit of prep for 2 of the interviews (a takeaway and mock presentation) but that's intentional and a great way to see if you're a good fit for AppSumo as it is a unique sell!

I really enjoyed my time here. They were great people, easy to talk to and had a great sense of understanding when it came to respecting balance. My department was amazing. We were a great team.

My honest opinion about this company is that towards the end I just felt it failing. Growth was stagnant and the incentives were diminishing. I wasn’t provided a raise for 3 years and I actually had a big pay cut after my first year because they couldn’t afford to keep paying me the same. I stayed because I was loyal, but silly me. It’s a shame because they could be much bigger but they just can’t seem to find a way to hash out the deeper issues here. No growth at ALL. I gave up after I knew it wasn’t gonna be anything to move up from. I just stayed because I picked up my laptop and worked from wherever I wanted. That was fun but it became old quickly and I have way more ambition than that. I still wish them luck
