Pros

None really. They try to make you friends with your coworkers, but even that is coming before professionalism and responsibilities

Cons

Office politics, multiplied by a factor of tten by the fact that they primarily hire college students

We value all of our current and former employees’ feedback, however I do think it's important for anyone reading this to understand how atypical this experience was. We take employee satisfaction, professionalism, planning and efficiency very seriously and we frequently assess employee engagement and solicit ideas for how to do better. Everything from our flexible leave policy to our dedicated learning time, our social events, conferences and training budget, meeting-free work periods, and our time allotment for code health and maintenance all came about as a result of employee suggestions. We are proud of our ability to recruit and retain top talent both with industry experience and from some of the best universities in the country. I'm sorry that things didn't work out for you, but I wish you luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

Cool office & perks, unlimited PTO.

Cons

My manager ultimately stabbed me in the back. Being a recruiter here is a trap. No one has your back, your are just an order taker and every stakeholder has unrealistic and unfair expectations. The founders have their hand in the entire recruiting process and it makes it so unbelievably hard. They want top talent but have not top talent pay. They are not flexible on RTO so good luck.

Thank you for sharing your perspective and highlighting our employee perks. We acknowledge your feedback regarding the recruiting process, stakeholder alignment, and our Return-to-Office guidelines. Providing a supportive environment where expectations are clear and fair is something we hold ourselves accountable to every day. While our commitment to an in-person workplace is rooted in building strong collaboration and connection across our teams, we are equally focused on ensuring our leaders have the tools and training necessary to support every department. We appreciate you taking the time to help us look for ways to improve.
