The leadership team is the real deal. They genuinely have the best interests of both the company and employees in mind, and it shows in how decisions get made. It's not lip service. The culture is fast-paced, but oriented around growth rather than burnout. You're moving quickly because the work matters. The company actually lives by its values, which is rarer than it should be. The "why" behind what Applause is building has a real effect on the people who work here and on the customers we serve.

Fast pace isn't for everyone. If you thrive in a structured, slow-moving environment, this probably isn't the place.

Applause is an incredible company. It's growing quickly and I've loved working here. The founders and executive team are very experienced. It's clear by how the company is run that several of the founders have done this before and they know what is really important. They are very transparent, open and approachable. The leaders care about their employees and their success. As an engineer I love the strong technical direction here. The engineering culture focuses on a high code quality and product quality standard, and high levels of ownership and accountability. There is a very high bar for talent across the company. Everyone pulls their weight. This team is the strongest and fastest moving team I've been a part of. The work is enjoyable and meaningful. Applause has really good benefits for a small company.

I really have a hard time coming up with cons for working here. Two small things I'd change if I could: - No 401k match - Unlimited PTO, I'd rather have an allotted amount of PTO
