Pros

I was a customer of Applexus before I joined so I had first-hand experience with the management team and their commitment to a positive customer outcome--even at a loss. Creating and maintaining long-term mutually beneficial relationships are valued above just bringing in revenue and that matches my values. I'm given lots of freedom to exercise creativity and truly define my own path so long as its in line with the core values and strategy of the company. If you're willing to put in the effort, you will create opportunity for yourself. Applexus is just a very authentic company--no glossy marketing or pretentiousness. Just a group of people passionate about doing the right things for their customers.

Cons

As a company that started literally from a handful of people, there are some growing pains as we grow in depth, breadth and global reach. You won't find a detailed "guidebook" that lays out a standardized career progression that you might get with a much larger and older professional services firm. For some, this ambiguity might be a con, but others might find it refreshing. As a true global company, work happens in a variety of time zones so there are times when middle-of-the-night conferences calls have to happen--not unreasonable but something to know if you prefer a strict 9-5 work schedule. Being relatively small, everyone has a direct, necessary responsibility to the company and its customers. If you're hoping to be invisible, you won't be happy here.

Pros

Nothing seems good about this company

Cons

The leadership is extremely unprofessional. In the name of being a family, they treat you very badly. There is no diversity in the US team, all old mentality guys that have superiority complex about themselves and think others know nothing.
