Pros
I have been with ADC for about five years, and every year it gets better. Working here is not an "easy paycheck" by any means - but they have proven over and over that if you remain focused, work hard, strive to learn more and be better at what you do - your efforts will be rewarded. There is no micro-management here (unless you, through some fault of your own have proven you require micro-management to do your job successfully). I can honestly say for the first time in my 25+ year IT career that I LOVE my job. I wake up eager to get to work, see my co-workers and compete to be the best at what I do. I am a road warrior and pretty much manage myself, my projects, my implementations and my customer relationships. `Every year I have worked harder and accomplish more than I did the previous year, and each year I am rewarded by this company - they have shown true appreciation for my efforts and have even gone as far as to be 100% supportive in the event of issues/challenges in my personal life. If you're thinking of applying for a job here, my best advice is... look at your goals and what kind of employee you intend to be. If you are looking for a job where you can just do the minimum, ride someone's coat-tails or skate by... you should probably keep looking because you won't go very far here and probably won't last long. BUT - if you are looking for a challenge... if you have the desire to learn, excel and succeed... if you can do your job better than the rest, take responsibility for your mistakes and enjoy an environment where there is no time to twiddle your thumbs... then I highly recommend ADC. This is the company I will move up in and retire from. Period.
Cons
Really, I don't have much to say here!
