Pros

Projects only lasts a few months then you can move on.

Cons

No future here. Systems were terribly disorganized and management turns everything chaotic! They’ll drown you with stress and exhausting work hours and get paid the minimum. It’s brutal to be honest.

Applied Precision (Canada) Response

We welcome constructive feedback and suggestions always. 'Drowned with stress' and 'exhausting work hours' are pretty harsh comments! If you were a Project Assistant/Engineering Intern you were paid by the hour, worked in a supportive, modern professional Team environment, had limited technical responsibilities and were paid well above Ontario minimum wages. Our Engineering Interns have typically given us excellent feedback on their experiences with us and many have stayed in touch with current staff and in some cases for many years. If you have serious concerns about your internship experience, we certainly would welcome an opportunity to discuss this in more detail so that we can improve future internship experiences. We, of course, wish you well as you start your professional career.

Pros

Good opportunities for learning. I worked on B2B Digital Marketing post-pandemic. I was new to this industry. Bob was patient, he provided the good resource to learn, including the engineers and the clients. As result, I ended up with delivering quality marketing materials to the market and a pay raise at the end of the first year.

Cons

Competition is intense for a company size like this in the local region. Projects are often bidding at a lower price due to competition. Overall, clients are demanding - you have to learn how to manage the expectations.

Pros

N/A nothing to add here

Cons

The main problem with this company is that employees improperly treated and are not paid consistently or on time. While there are many other issues—such as no occupational trainings or support, disorganization, micromanagement, no room for growth, and generally unprofessional business practices—the most serious problem is the failure to pay employees when they are supposed to be paid. The president is rude and often refuses to pay former and current employees. Many employees turn to file claims through the Onrario Courts and Ministry of Labour in order to recover wages Applied Precision 3D needs to pay.
