Pros
For me, I've been given amazing opportunities to grow my career at Applied. The people are great, the business is doing great, our customers are great, and there's so much opportunity ahead for both the business, my personal growth, and my team's growth, that I don't ever entertain recruiting messages. I've been here 6 years, and I want to stay here and keep growing.
Cons
Applied is a large portfolio company, so often things that work well with one product area may not be working well everywhere. We're growing and learning from each other, but sometimes it's hard to bridge the broad gaps and keep everyone moving the same direction.
