Pros
AquaQ offers some great opportunities to work and grow in challenging and demanding environments. With a solid knowledge base and a growing client base there is good room for learning new skills and developing old ones, on the job and through training provided. The salaries have also been brought closer in line with the skills and work ethic required for the job, and the company has become more focused on employee welfare overall as it has grown. This now extends to a company healthcare plan and some additional holidays and bonuses. The shift to remote working was also largely smooth, and trust from management as a whole has been clear and appreciated.
Cons
At times there are still elements of disorganised management and poor communication on important issues, but this has improved and is to be expected to some degree. While salaries have been addressed and improved, they are still probably a little undervalued when all benefits are considered as a whole. The base holidays in particular are less than generous, as is the pension contribution in comparison to other workplaces in Belfast.
