Great concept to merge regional distirbution to national scale. Shame it ended up dissolving the whole thing, profitable with the non-profitable. there were several well run branches and very talented people scattered around the country. Great opportunities to learn a lot if self motivated to do so.

No communication from senior management. As cash flow tightend, the lack of communication with vendors caused unnecessary adversarial relationships. Too many directives were started but not fully implemented. No accountability if objectives not met. Main accounting system had so much junk in it that there was no way to accurately determine backlog.
