Pros
-learn how to build relationships with kids and adults -job flexibility (seasonal, active, inactive - employment status) -movement throughout company (party host, camp conselor, skills coach, lil kickers coach- all attainable with pretty fast training) -exercise while working -upbeat and exciting -paid during training -use of psychology and soccer in order to create a well rounded curriculum that best fits kids needs if your passion for teaching, soccer, and the development of kids outweighs the cons of a different job that will make more money or be easier then this is 100% the job for you.
Cons
- little pay -tired out easily (4hr coaching shifts max since the job is physically demanding) -no air conditioning -employee benefits limited to free drinks and discounted popcorn -kind of clique -more responsibility than your typical min. wage job (fast food, retail) -to be a good coach you have to put the needs of your kids above the needs of your own (ex: calling in sick results in inconsistency for the kids, this will affect their progress in class)
