Pros
free drink when you get back to the office everyday, that's the only plus.
Cons
this sales job was a joke, they treat employees like morons, I mean we are selling iced tea and trying to get different items that don't sell into accounts and than when it doesn't sell the reps get yelled at by the store. Arizona knows these items are "dogs" and don't sell but its a numbers game and everyday you will have the stress to push the hell out of these items to store owners and lie to the owners that they will sell quickly...lol. They also do not pay very well and you are driving all over the place. You will make anywhere from 500-600 a week plus a HUGE commission of .12 cents a case, isn't Arizona a multi million dollar company and they give there reps .12 cents!!! and only $125 a week for gas which they put that as part of your pay and they shouldn't you will go through more than 125 a week on gas easily. Everyday you must report back to the office, even if your territory is close to your home, you still have to go back every single day. The managers are also on routes since every one quits and there are open routes constantly. So you have to wait at the office for your manager to get back, this could take anywhere from 1/2 hr to over an hour waiting and not getting any extra pay for your time. I mean really?? Its unreal, the managers speak to you at least 4x a day and can speak to you at the end of the day instead of wasting more gas and time going back to the office. Every week there is a meeting so plan on getting home after 6pm. no respect for employees time, I mean we do have other things to do after work.
