      TAing is good teaching experience, especially in you intend to stay in academia and continue teaching.

      Cons

      TAs are often entirely responsible for lab classes, but they are paid poorly and their name isn't even on the course. Also the health care for graduate students at ASU is abysmal.

      Highly interactive job where you meet lots of different students and form connections

      Cons

      I don't like the administration changes that they have implemented in 2026. It more dictatorial now and tutor who are the face of their organization are not given much voice.
