Pros
Arrcus is my first company and it will always have a special place in my heart no matter what. Here are the pros : 1. You get to learn things quickly. 2. The people are really good. Specially the senior manager of bangalore team. 3. I knew I am joining a startup and things could turn upside down anytime. I worked with all my heart and made use of all my time and learnt things from such talented people.
Cons
1. It's really a lot of pressure to work. We were asked to work on weekends too. Like working for 14+ hours daily. And working at late night's too. 2. Work life balance sucks. There is no such thing as work life balance here. 3. Though the work culture says 2 days a week and everyone use to come twice a week. I was asked to come to office daily. Which doesn't make sense. Have to do zoom calls in office because my seniors and mentors are working remotely. It sucks. 4. And yes if you are working more and delivering better quality code than your colleague. Then congrats you can be fired any day. I got a call from manager and he was like here is a bad news for you, you are fired. They are quite foolish while it comes to firing people, they fire talented and hardworking ones. 5. Working in Arrcus affects you mentally. You will be working always under pressure and also with the fear that you could be fired anyday.
