Pros
The company has a great culture. Management is actually great and most people are good to be around. Free lunches M,F and different group activities and such. If you stay here for 3-4 years grinding every single day you could make a lot of money
Cons
A typical shift is 7-5 which they don't tell you in the interview process. You might as well throw out flexibility cause to be a high achiever you are going to have to deal with carrier issues after hours all night long. There is extremely high stress in this job. I think a big part of it comes with dealing with carrier issues and how hard it is to sell the loads. There is really nothing that makes arrives have good loads to the carriers. They pay dirt cheap so none of the carriers want to take them and why would you blame them? Even after you get a carrier to run a bunch of loads for the company there is no real value you bring to the carrier that the other million brokers cant bring. This job is a daily GRIND. Your metrics are high and for the first year you probably are going to make 60-70k (This is if you are realllly good) But please understand this isn't if you are just a good salesman you can expect to make that, there is a substantial amount of luck involved in this that is not like your other sales roles. Decent company to start a career to gain some experience but trust me you would be better off waiting and finding a better career path elsewhere.
