Pros
You'll surely love it when you first join the company. The people are great, the management is even better. They'll make you feel like you're part of a big family. But that's just in the beginning. There are lots of team building activities that you'll love if you want to befriend (yes, it's a silent rule) all the people in the company and you just love getting dirty and muddy with the games and activities.
Cons
You'll never have a good career here. You get a "good" position when you start but you stay like that forever unless someone leaves. That would unlikely happen because the whole management is a family. During your tenure, you would see people come join the company out of nowhere to take a management position and you'll soon find out that he/she is either another family member or a very close family friend. You'll clearly see that some people in the management don't have the qualifications to assume their roles but they're there to be your boss. You are required to be loyal to the family and the company. Anything you do should be to the benefit of the family and company, not anyone else. You are forced to befriend everyone in the company like you are some kind of a huge family even if you don't share the same interests and passion. If the leaders there can't lead you, then there's really something wrong with the leadership skills, not to mention the technical skills. Always remember that there's nothing wrong with you, if you half-heartedly or unwillingly follow, then it just means that you are better to be a leader than to be a slave there. The company doesn't follow any SOPs. All the SOPs arbitrarily change and selectively enforced. If you're a favorite, then good for you! You can violate any of the SOPs without getting a warning or punished. If you're a family member, that's even better, you can play god inside the company, you can just work 1 day a week, come into the office and work for 3 hours a day, have a month-long vacation abroad, eat and drink in a hotel every night, humiliate anyone, yell at anyone, you can basically do whatever you want.
